Important: The paper has strong tensile forces. To avoid warping of the Fusuma construction, it is absolutely necessary to cover the back with a paper of the same or similar quality.
We offer most of our papers with and without a motif. The blank variant would be the best choice here.

Paper for Fusuma, with design

We offer Fusuma papers with and without motif. Here you will find wallpapers with hand-painted or printed motifs.
All wallpapers shown here are usually in stock.
Please use our service: let us send you a sample assortment and gain an impression of the type and quality of this wallpaper base paper.
Special sizes require some patience; these are ordered in Japan and made especially for you. The production and delivery takes at least four weeks.
It is also possible to have hand-painted motifs painted on longer tracks.
Basically, there are wallpapers in different colours, with and without structure, with decor, flat pattern prints and motifs. These are printed, painted by hand according to selected standard motifs or individually designed by selected artists.

Motif papers come into their own when the viewer has a certain distance from the doors.

For a deposit we will gladly send you, according to your wishes, a more comprehensive catalogue of available wallpapers, so that you can choose from further Fusuma papers with motifs.
By the way: On the website of our workshop www.shoji-bau.de you will find examples of the Fusuma we have built, also with motif printing and painting.
During the production of Fusuma it is important to create the same structure on both sides to prevent warping or bending of the doors (backing paper).
