Room 4 – Japanese Room in a Munich Apartment
The sleeping area was built as an alcove under the sloped ceiling. The focal point is the transom panel (ranma) above the shoji, crafted in the traditional style. The futon is placed directly on the tatami, rolled up during the day, and stored in the closet

Tokobashira made of mountain maple (other wood types available in the shop)
Tatami high quality with border (beri) No. 5 (other beri borders available in the shop)
Fusuma handle: solid copper, Urushi finish
