a japanese-style room used as a library in a private home. fusuma, hand-painted, built-in bookshelf veneered in oak.
shoji in a double-sided design, traditionally guided in the japanese style.
material:
track rails: solid oak, oiled and waxed
structural wood: solid fir, surface finished with shellac patina and wax
tatami: made in japan, filled with rice straw, omote mt-208
covering: fusuma paper 90.01.05 (this and other fusuma papers available in the shop)
