What You Need to Know About Us and Our Shop
Crafting Japanese sliding doors and complete Japanese-style rooms is my great passion. With our Japanese furniture, we provide the perfect accessories for your Japanese-styled home.
The offering began simply because I didn’t want to depend on middlemen for my own needs. I set out to find reliable partners in Japan, and over the years I have built trusted business relationships with various merchants in Tokyo and Kyoto. Long ago, we also became the European representatives for a paper producer in Yamanashi. Acquiring antique objects on our own is equally exciting—and, of course, extensive trips to Japan are indispensable :-)
In addition to DIY enthusiasts and lovers of all things Japanese, our customers occasionally include artists, artisans, and even the film industry.
Except for a few items, everything is imported directly from Japan. Thanks to many years of hands-on experience working with these materials, I can offer expert advice and recommendations. If you have the time, our contacts in Japan sometimes allow us to fulfill special requests as well.
